Kaedama is a Visual Novel that is heavily dependent on player inputs. By using a unique player-based response system, you can reply in however you see fit. Be assertive, flirty, mean or whatever else springs to mind. Characters will remember your responses and depending on how nice you are you can make them laugh, angry or even fall for you.

Developer Notes
I've noticed that a lot of people are confused about the response system and are in need of a guide.
My advice is to approach the questions as you'd approach a conversation in real life, there is no real "right answer" to speak of and every answer they like increases their affection by the same amount, so realistically you can only really gain a +1 in each interaction. Try whatever pops up in your head and if any don't work, by all means, tell me about it, so I can fix it. The only hints I can give you, is to look at their expressions and body language after a response to figure out if you said something good or bad.
Additionally, do not worry about giving a wrong response, you're not going to get locked out of a route because you said the wrong thing once.
